MISSION STATEMENT

Peoples' Inter-Cities Fellowship (PICF) exists to work with God in sharing the Good News of the Word, allowing the Holy Spirit to complete the work of Salvation -- and training people to be His disciples

Peoples' Inter-Cities Fellowship is a church that Loves God and believes in preaching and teaching the Word of God without compromise.

This body is a non-denominational, interracial, Bible Centered Christian Fellowship.

Sunday services are held at 639 Drake Ave in Marin City / Sausalito. We also hold a weekly Bible study in Petaluma on Tuesday nights.

In 2005 we changed our name from Marin City Church of God to Peoples' Inter-Cities Fellowship (PICF) as we believe this affords us greater latitude for ministry outreach. We value the family and encourage the entire family to worship with us. 

Matthew 28:18-20 says, ¹⁸ "And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, all power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. ¹⁹ Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: ²⁰ Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen."

While many people may believe that there are various ways to God, it is our belief from the Word of God that Jesus, the Savior, the Messiah is the door that one has to go through in order to be saved. Jesus did not just receive some power, but ALL power resides within Him; and incredibly, the Lord has offered us the tremendous privilege of partnering with Him to take the Gospel (the Good News) into the world. As believers in the Lord, we are commanded to love one another (Jn 13:34) but we must not confuse love with tolerating every thought and behavior of people that violates the clear teaching of God's Word. The word "love" has been used very loosely, but love actually requires that I do what is in the best interest of the person. Sometimes that means letting people know where they are wrong and trying to do it in such a way that people are not run off from the body of Christ. When we consider the ministry of Jesus, he showed love and compassion, but he also required repentance from sin. Even the woman caught in adultery in John 8, while Jesus spoke kind words to her in love, He also told her "Go, and sin no more."

God has a standard and His standard is His Word. The Church, the Ecclesia (the called out ones) have the most unique opportunity afforded to individuals and that is planting and watering the Word of God in the lives of people. We must always remember, that God's passion is people and not things. Christ died for people and not objects.  If we are willing to share God's Word with people, then God will bring about change in the lives of people.
